The Inova Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program—one of the region’s largest and most experienced transplant programs—offers pediatric and adult patients with end-stage kidney disease the best option for a normal and healthy life. Our team of transplant surgeons, transplant nephrologists, nurse coordinators and support staff is committed to the ongoing care, education and support of all patients, family members and living kidney donors—from the initial referral through transplantation and postoperative extended care. Inova Transplant Center is an innovator in transplant care and has offered its community a number of transplant “firsts,” including:
